KWAYE the 25 year old singer from LA via London and Zimbabwe has announced new EP Learning To Swim and shared new single “Kindness”. This follows on from recent singles “Run” and “Runaway”.
Partnering an uplifting horn / funk infused instrumental with groove-laden percussion and sparkling synths, lyrically “Kindness” brings forward a message of positivity, with KWAYE’s peerless vocal sitting centre stage.
“Kindness has got many meanings, but the overall idea is that simple thing that, I think in this day and age, we as human beings tend to stray away from… humans can be so quick to judge, but also be so quick to be sceptical of any kind gestures in public. I make a habit of – if I’ve got something nice to say, I’ll say it to a perfect stranger.
