Anglo-Scottish duo Blue Violet have shared new environmentally focused new single “White Beaches“. Inspired by Greta Thunberg’s School Strike For Climate movement, the band open the dream-pop infused new single with the line “Are you with her?”, referencing both the climate activist and mother nature herself. Through layers of dreamy and ethereal guitars the duo seek to find hope and change amongst others declaring that “These white beaches are for everyone”. It’s an anthem for change that showcases the beauty of nature.
Speaking on the new single lead-singer Sarah Gotley said:
“The younger generation want stronger leadership and better examples set by their politicians, and Greta has captured not only the imagination of her peers but the attention of the world’s leaders. They really can’t afford to ignore her as she represents all of us.”
